MOUNT HARTMAN BAY ESTATE

Set on its own private peninsula, the Mount Hartman Bay Estate looks across the water to the Mount Hartman Nature Reserve, home of the protected Grenada Dove. The bay itself is guarded by coral reefs and is one of the most beautiful and sheltered in the Caribbean. Set in three acres of gardens with trees, shrubs, and fruit and vegetables, the main house of the estate merges into the hillside, overlooking the private beach, while the Beach House is located a couple of minutes walk away, on the waterfront overlooking the private jetty and helipad.

The estate has its own private 27 metre swimming pool, and the beach house also has a private 14 metre lap pool. There are numerous other activities close at hand, including wakeboarding or waterskiing off the back of the Yellow Peril, a 13 ft water jet boat, or snorkelling over the reefs on a Sea Scooter. Alternatively you can take the pair of Mitsubishi shoguns off with a guide for a tour of the island and see the tropical rainforest, or take a trip out to an island for a picnic in the 43 ft, 39-knot, air conditioned motor cruiser, which is at your disposal. Indoor amenities include Broadband Wi-Fi internet access, available with Skype, a book library, DVD library, CD and music library, Sony Playstation, board games and a 50” plasma screen with DVD and CD players, and a Bose sound system with more than 2000 tracks and an iPod connection.

Beautifully decorated throughout, the main living room is furnished with a mix of antique and modern furniture, Indian and Chinese silk rugs, and with a waterfall feature, cascading down alongside the staircase, and cooling the house with a refreshing sound. The 8 air conditioned bedrooms have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, 42” flat screen televisions, with cable TV and DVD players. With four additional suites in the Beach House, the Estate can accommodate up to 22 guests the dining table at the main house can seat 22). The two houses can be rented either separately or together. Children are welcome, with high chairs and cots available, and babysitting can be arranged.
