Situated with wonderful views of Deia Village and the sea, the villa is positioned in a very secluded spot high up with wonderful Westerly and Southern aspect. Deia, a former Artists colony, itself is a most beautiful stone clad village with 3 Michelin star restaurants and 10 other restaurants nearby. It has 2 supermarkets, a pharmacy, various art galleries and boutique shops. The beach is in a small secluded bay, 2 km from the village and has 2 small outdoor restaurants with lovely positions overlooking the beach. An 18 hole Golf course is 20 minutes away and Spa facilities available at nearby Residencia hotel. Palma airport is 35 minutes away. Shopping in Soller (Saturday market) and Valldemossa are only 10-15 minutes away. Soller boasts a electric tram system which travels around the mountain into Palma town centre, 35 minutes away and down to the sandy beaches of Port De Soller.
The centre of Deia is a 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk away with a host of Restaurants and Tapas bars to suit all budgets. Car is essential and the Finca is not suitable for non-swimmers due to the proximity of the pool to the house. The pool has a lovely aspect facing the sea with 6 sunbeds on the terrace area. The house is built in the traditional rustic stone facia style with terracotta tiles and painted wooden shutters, which blends into the surrounding countryside.
The small finca, formerly a Priests sanctuary, has been renovated outside and in yet retains it’s authentic charm. The interior walls are whitewashed enhancing the exposed wooden beams. A mixed media of floor tiling in the bedrooms, to traditional pebble dashing throughout the remainder of the house keeps temperatures moderate, all year round. The house comes complete with heating, washing machine, dishwasher, TV etc.
