Located near the town of Loulé in the Eastern Algarve and situated within an estate of 2 independent villas with private pools and a tennis court, this elegant rural house is particularly well suited for a small family - its hilltop position amongst two hectares of farmland offers views of the coast within easy reach of beaches and golf courses. This part of Portugal is well known for its pretty countryside and nature walks, sleepy white washed villages with friendly locals and reasonably priced restaurants and bars. There are several places of interest to visit nearby such as the quaint village of Alte, the Baroque palace of Estoi, and the market town of Loule.
Quinta da Caiada is surrounded by terraces and a lawned garden, framed by almond, olive and citrus trees. The pretty swimming pool (12 x 5m) with surrounding sunbathing terrace has a uniform depth throughout of 1.45m throughout (ideal for children) and a charming outdoor covered barbeque/dining terrace sits to one side of the property. There is also a table tennis, plus croquet set for playing on the lawn, and a shared tennis court located within the estate, approximately 300 metres away.
The interiors are warm and extremely comfortable with generously proportioned rooms, equipped with Sky TV and DVD player, DVD library, CD player, I-Pod docking station, board games and telephone/fax machine. Portable air conditioning units and fans are available on request. There is wi-fi internet access. A sauna and gym equipment are available for use by guests on request (approximately 50 metres away).
