Beside the Creek is a beautiful, substantial family lodge built on its own small piece of Wyoming paradise – four private acres of dappled aspen woods and rolling grassland tucked at the far end of a dirt road, with a year-round stream rippling by the back door. Beside the Creek is big and spacious, with thick log walls and soaring windows. Low stone steps lead to the front door, and the entry foyer opens into the great room with its grand wall of glass. A huge wood-burning fireplace and a triad of soft leather couches anchor the great room and form the heart of the house. Doors open to a wide stone terrace facing Lake Creek and the mountains. The cathedral ceiling of the great room drops to a beamed wood ceiling as the space transitions to dining room, sitting area and kitchen; each one open to the others.
The dining area is separated from the kitchen by a sitting area with a built-in bar. A granite-topped breakfast bar and three river willow stools border the kitchen. The kitchen is both well-stocked and wonderful to work in. Above the Viking gas range, SubZero refrigerator and double dishwashers, dark cherry cabinets are filled with silver, glassware, and small appliances like mixers and espresso machines. Off of the kitchen is a big porch with its own wood-burning fireplace and outdoor dining area, where willow armchairs surround a long table.
Beside the Creek has a three car garage, and a big laundry room just off the pantry – perfect for depositing gear and outerwear on your way back in after a day of adventuring. The property feels wild and secluded, though a mere five-minute drive will bring you into lively, chic Teton Village. Beside the Creek is the perfect base for everything Jackson Hole has to offer in every season – Grand Teton National Park, spas, restaurants, ski slopes, boundless hiking trails that start at the door, and – perhaps best of all - some of the West’s best fishing, right in the back yard.
Amenities include satellite TV, DVD player and CD player.

Ground Floor
It has three bedrooms and a bunkroom; ten or more people can sleep here happily and comfortably. The master suite has a tall gas fireplace of smooth, rounded river stones and a cathedral wood ceiling arching over the king bed. Doors open to the wrap-around terrace and a hot tub, and drapes can be pulled across the entire windowed wall for privacy and shade. Just past the walk-in closet is a rustic, luxurious bathroom with double sinks, private toilet room, a deep, jetted tub and separate shower. Closer to the great room, at the hallway’s midpoint, is a study with a wide, flat-screen TV set into built-in cabinets. A sleeper sofa accommodates extra overnight guests.
The two guest bedrooms are both roomy and comfortable. The elegant guest suite on the ground floor has a queen bed facing a gas fireplace and French doors open to the creek and the hot tub. There is a private bath with a marble-topped sink, a separate shower and a deep soaking tub.
First Floor
The second guest room is upstairs, a snug, camp-like retreat with a rustic queen bed made of logs.
One of the house’s most wonderful features is a fabulous, fanciful loft right at the top of the stairs, overlooking the great room. There is a great, open carpeted space to spread out and play, and a supply of toys and games for all ages. There is also a tidy little bed tucked into a corner. Off of the playroom is the four-berth bunk room – two built-in niche beds and two free-standing log twins. The bunkroom has its own bathroom, with one sink and a shower.
