We are offering several properties in or near Queenstown, in the South Island, an area of unsurpassed beauty and with so much to offer, ranging from a leisurely cruise on Lake Wakatipu with its breathtaking background of the snow-capped Remarkables? mountain range, or a wine tour to sample Central Otago?s ever improving selection of wines to skiing at nearby Coronet Peak, fishing, golf and tramping. For the more daring, this area is unbeatable with activities including a ride down the rapids on the Shotover River, paragliding and bungy jumping.
Further north, in the centre of the North Island, we have several lakeshore villas, one on Lake Tarawera, close to Rotorua, the centre of New Zealand?s geothermal activity. The famous Pohutu Geyser is but one of the many sights to see in this fascinating part of the country, with its volcanic lakes, giant forests and rich Maori culture. A little further south, the clear waters of Lake Taupo, with its renowned trout fishing, offers a base for exploring the landscapes of the volcanic plateau area with its spectacular mountains and river gorges, further geothermal walks and the waterfalls and rapids of the Waikato River.
Further north still, we are offering an apartment in a coveted location in central Auckland, right in the heart of the recently reclaimed downtown wharf area, developed in 2002 as the America?s Cup Village. It is now a compound of plazas and promenades, luxury apartments and restaurants. Central Auckland is just a few minutes walk away as is the ferry building, with ferries and catamarans to the stunning outlying islands.
