Canne à Sucre is a lovely family house situated on the sandy beach at Poste Lafayette, on the east coast of the island. Poste Lafayette is a lovely, peaceful resort, perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay within natural surroundings. The nearest centre is Flacq, just 15 minutes drive from the villa, with shops, supermarket and a lively local market on Wednesdays and Sundays. The world famous hotel, the Prince Maurice is 10 minutes drive away, where it is possible to use spa and watersports facilities by special arrangement. There is also an 18 hole golf course at Belle Mare and a diving centre at the Belle Mare Plage Hotel. At the front of the house, there is an outdoor sitting and dining terrace, with sea views. The garden leads from here directly to the beach. To the rear, most of the rooms open to a large terrace with swimming pool terrace. The accommodation is all on level and all four bedrooms have air conditioning. Further amenities include satellite TV, DVD, CD player, a safe and a barbecue.
