This beautiful, traditional-style villa was built at the end of the 18th century. It sits within its own small formal park, with chapel, at the centre of an estate. There are several farmhouses on the estate which were originally occupied by the farmers looking after the winery, but they do not interfere with the privacy of Villa La Maulina.
It is a fantastic location, in the peace of the countryside, yet just 4 kilometres from the centre of Lucca. Known as “La Maulina”, this area has always been famous for its wine, and now is one of the most popular residential areas of Lucca. The property has a new swimming pool (18x8m) in a lovely position, just a short walk from the house.
The villa has been totally renovated during the last couple of years and has been decorated and furnished in an elegant style. It can accommodate groups of up to 20 people, with all the bedrooms (except one) having their own bathroom. For smaller groups, it is possible to rent a part of the house, accommodating up to 12 guests. Amenities include an ISDN internet connection, barbeque, central heating, stereo and dvd.
