This beautiful property was originally a small rural complex of three buildings on a hillside in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Surrounded by green hills and vineyards, it has wonderful countryside views. The town of Castellina in Chianti is just 1.6 kms away and both Florence and Siena are within an easy drive.
The restoration of the property has been done very sympathetically, keeping the original character and details, such as the cotto floors, archways and exposed wooden ceiling beams. The rooms are comfortably furnished in a Tuscan country style and amenities include satellite TV, CD player, internet access, telephone and fax. A baby cot and highchair are available on request. An additional bedroom suite is also available on request, in the second house, at additional cost.
The villa is accessed by an 800 metre unsealed driveway, with a parking area on a higher level from the house. Wide stairs lead down to the entrance of the main house. There is a furnished terrace at the entrance level, and on the lower level a large furnished terrace which runs the whole length of the house, and shaded by pergolas and large trees. Further stairs lead down through the garden to a lower level with a swimming pool (10 x 6m), surrounded by a sun terrace, with a pergola at one end.

Spacious master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and double basins. Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. Double bedroom, opening to the same shower room as the twin bedroom.
Second House (right next door to the main house)
Hallway with wood-burning oven for baking bread and pizza. Living/dining room with open-plan kitchen, equipped with gas hob, electric oven, small dishwasher and fridge. A large glass door opens from the living area to outside. Double bedroom. Single bedroom, opening to garden. Shower room.
Third House (converted from the hay barn)
Accessed from a terrace, paved in old bricks. : large archway leads into a living room with original cotto floors and an enormous stone archway leading to a hallway and open-plan kitchen, equipped with oven and fridge/freezer. Spacious double volume living/dining room with doors at either end opening to outside, one to a furnished terrace with lovely views. Shower room. From the hallway, a wrought iron staircase leads up to gallery with a double bed and a single bed.
