The house is part of a large farming estate, which includes the main 17th century villa with formal park and a tennis court, to which guests at the farmhouse have access. The farmhouse is totally separate from the rest of the estate with fenced grounds to afford maximum privacy. There is also a private parking area near the entrance to the house.
To the rear of the house, the rooms open to a covered terrace with outdoor dining area, leading to a well maintained lawned garden with swimming pool (12 x 5m). The grounds and swimming pool are maintained by a gardener who lives in a separate farmhouse on the estate, and his wife provides the maid service.
The current owners have restored the house with impeccable taste. Use of soft ‘Siena yellow’ adds to the light and spacious ambience, and complements the wood beamed ceilings, brick archways, vaulted ceilings and cotto floors. All the tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms are hand-painted.
