This very special property is situated on a rural estate in a quiet position, 3 kilometres away from the village of Montopoli. It is a particularly beautiful, relatively undiscovered area of Tuscany and ideal for those looking for complete peace and privacy. Just 10 kilometres from a highway connecting Pisa and Florence, it is also a good base from which to explore Tuscany. Both Pisa and Florence can be reached in around half and hour and the famous Tuscan town of San Gimignano is 40 minutes away, as is the Castelfalfi golf course.
Surrounded by a lovely garden, a pathway leads down from the villa to a beautiful swimming pool (10 x 5m). A furnished covered terrace outside the front of the house is ideal for dining outdoors.
The interiors have recently been restored to a very high standard, preserving the traditional country style with beamed ceilings and original cotto floors. The rooms are furnished very tastefully, with some antiques. Amenities include central heating and air conditioning in all the first floor bedrooms, except one. There is satellite TV, a stereo system and a fax machine. Our other property, La Capinera, which sleeps 9 people, is on the same estate, so the two properties can be rented together for larger groups of up to 14 people.
