This beautiful villa is situated on a cliffside, just outside Taormina, overlooking the Ionian sea. Taormina offers many historic sites to visit, as well as a good choice of shops and restaurants. The nearby beach of Mazzaro is connected by an isthmus to the tiny offshore island of Isola Bella. Take a cable car from Taormina or walk there, down a long flight of steps bordered by bougainvillea.
The main part of the villa is on three levels, and has three bedrooms, a double, twin and a single bedroom. For larger groups, there are three studio apartments on a lower level, Papale 1, which has a double bedroom and Papale 2, with twin bedroom and Papale 3 with a single bedroom. The studios are linked to the main villa by an exterior spiral staircase. The living room, on the ground floor of the main villa, opens to a very pretty terrace, with covered outdoor dining area, outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Beyond the terrace, is a beautiful infinity swimming pool, which can be heated on request.
The rooms are very well furnished and equipped, with stereo CD system, satellite TV and DVD, washing machine and dryer. The spacious living room features a marble fireplace, wall panelling, antique furniture and a grand piano. The owner has requested no children at this villa. There are two prices, one for smaller groups in the main villa of up to 5 people, and one for 6 - 10 people.
