In the surrounding area are the fascinating natural reserves of Fiume Irminio, Prainito, and Manghisi, the cave necropoli of Pantalica and Castelluccio, and small cultural towns such as Modica e Scicli which together with Noto offer a rich season of cultural events every summer.
