This beautiful villa is a stunning example of a classic "liberty style" building, constructed at the end of the 18th century. It was restored in 2010, a sensitive and unique restoration by one of the most famous specialist architects in Italy, who has been responsible for the restyling some of the most elegant houses of the Sorrento Peninsula and Capri. The villa sits surrounded by a green and verdant garden, at Sant’Agnello, just 50 metres from the sea. The historical centre of Sorrento is one kilometre away. The location is ideal for those who want to just relax, or explore Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida. The train station is just ten minutes walk from the villa, and the local train, ‘Circumvesuviana’, enables you to visit very easily the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples.
The villa grounds consist of around 4,000 square metres of garden with citrus trees, palms and camellias, as well as a swimming pool with furnished sun terrace. There is also an outdoor covered dining area with barbecue and traditional pizza oven. During the year the park like grounds are often used for cultural events and exhibitions devoted to photography, painting and sculpture displays.
The interior spaces are equally impressive; on several levels with a lift, as well as stairways. The rooms are decorated with a rare collection of earthenware jars, floors of Vietri majolica tiles and handcrafted chandeliers from Murano. On the rooftop is an amazing terrace with magnificent sea views, over the Bay of Naples. The seven bedrooms are of three types: Superior, De Luxe and Junior suite, and all can be made up as king-size double or twin beds. All the rooms are decorated and furnished in individual style, and all have beautiful views, some of the sea. All are equipped with, LCD satellite TV, wi-fi internet, safe, mini-bar, independent air conditioning, direct telephone and, sound proof windows. The bathrooms are equipped with hairdryer, bath or shower, bathrobe, complimentary toiletries and fine linen.
