Villa Diana enjoys incredible sea views as well as one of the most tranquil locations in the cliff-side village of Praiano (10 minutes away on foot). Praiano offers food shops (including the “Emporio”, which can also do home deliveries at no extra charge), bars, pizzerias and restaurants. About 50 metres from the property is a bus stop with a bus service that Praiano to all the other centres of the Amalfi Coast – useful during the summer months when it is more difficult to find car parking. The “La Praia” Beach (with pebbles) is 5 minutes walk away where guests can swim, sunbathe, or take a boat to reach the other destinations along the coast, or the islands. There is also a scuba diving centre, a Water Taxi service and a boat rental facility. The beach also offers a number of bars and restaurants serving excellent local food. The property cannot be reached by car, and cars need to be parked about 15 minutes walk away. Guests at the villa will have a free single parking space.
The property has recently been restored and all materials used are environmentally friendly. Hot water is provided by a solar panel system. Floor tiling, both inside and outside the Villa, is made with local hand made tiles. The accommodation is on three levels with entrance on the top level from a private terrace next to the kitchen. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs and garden furniture and partly shaded by a beautiful wisteria and bougainvillea vine-covered pergola. A hammock and a BBQ are also available in this covered area. The rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished with a mixture of modern and antique furniture, and equipped with satellite TV, DVD and hi-fi system. An inverter air conditioning/heating system provides cool or warm air on request. The extra electricity cost will be charged directly on the premises at Euros 0,30 per KW. The property also has an orchard, with fruit trees providing lemons, oranges, tangerines, plums, figs, apricots, peaches and pomegranates according to the season.
The owners, who live nearby, used to own a hotel in Praiano. They speak English, German, French, and Italian and will be happy to assist their guests with any possible advice or information on visits (including local English speaking guides), itineraries, transfers, etc. They can also organize tailored excursions Those guests who prefer to rent a car for their excursions, can ask the owners to arrange a rental with English speaking driver.

Entrance Level
Open-plan living/dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, toaster, and coffee machine. Glass doors open to the terrace with offers an incredible view over the sea.
Mid Level
Down the stairs that connect the main entrance to the lower level, is a landing with two doors that open to two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, one with shower and one with both a Jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. Both bedrooms have glass doors accessing a second terrace (60 sqm) equipped with sun beds, loungers, chairs and table, as well as a vine-covered pergola which provides a shaded area.
Lowest Level
Studio room with a large panoramic window: here, on request, an extra bed can be added, but there is no bathroom on this level.

Maid service available at €12 per hour,. An English speaking babysitter can also be arranged, and multilingual freelance chefs for dinners or for cooking lessons. Change of linen is weekly and included in the rental price, extra changes in the course of the week, if requested, will be charged €10 per person (bed and bathroom linen).
