La Torre di Seiano lies in the beautiful secluded countryside, about 15 minutes drive from the small hamlet of Seiano, close to Vico Equense, on the Sorrento coast. Seiano, an elegant seaside resort with excellent hotels and luxurious private villas, is located about a 20 – 25 minute drive from both Sorrento and Positano, The villa is therefore ideal for exploring the surroundings of Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius, or just staying on the coastline at one of the many beaches. The nearest beaches are 15 – 20 minute drive away.
The villa was originally an old tower dating back to the 12th century. It has been beautifully renovated by two important Neopolitan architects in a style respecting the original décor and local traditions. It is set on a hilltop in the middle of a large olive grove, with spectacular views over the countryside to the sea. The exterior of the tower is built with rough, natural stone, blending in with the natural countryside. The interior is decorated and furnished in a tasteful country style, with original terracotta floor tiles, antique wooden furniture, paintings and oriental carpets. The beautiful living room is divided into a dining area with large antique wooden table with 8 leather chairs, and doors opening to terrace, and an intimate, cosy living area with fireplace, furnished with three comfortable sofas, and with satellite TV, DVD and VCR. The villa does not have air conditioning, but its position, high above the sea, keeps it cool. It does have heating and a large fireplace, so is very suitable also for out of season rentals. A telephone is not available, so guests should bring a mobile phone.
The accommodation is one three levels with stairs leading from both the first and second floors down to the garden. There is also an annex with one bedroom at ground floor level, just off the dining patio. The outdoor seating area is partly covered with a bamboo awning and furnished with comfortable chairs, and a stone bench with cushions. The outside dining area with barbecue, has two large marble tables and built-in benches. A small stone path leads through the garden down to the swimming pool (10 x 5m), with a furnished terrace overlooking the green slopes of the coast. Surrounded by olive and fig trees, this is a wonderful spot for relaxing and sunbathing. The property is accessed by a narrow private road leading 300 metres through olive groves from the main road, to private gates and a parking area. Although the property is fenced, there are some steep drops within the grounds, so very young children would have to be watched carefully.

Hall with access to a spacious terrace, furnished with large pot plants, and with fabulous views. Stylish master bedroom with high vaulted ceilings and wrought-iron double bed, and French doors leading to another terrace. Large en-suite bathroom with semi-circular bathtub.
Second and Tower Floors
Living area with sofa-bed, desk and library, opening to a balcony. Shower room. Stairs lead up to a loft living room and a shower room. Two staircases lead up from the loft living room. The first is a spiral staircase leading up to the loft bedroom with double bed, and low ceilings. The second staircase goes up to the roof terrace and top of the tower.
Annex
The annex is accessible from the outdoor patio and dining area, and has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower).
