This beautiful, private, country home is located along the Amalfi Coast road, about a 20 minute drive from Positano and 30 minutes from Sorrento, from where there are ferry connections to Naples, Capri and Ischia. From Piano di Sorrento, 15 minutes drive away, it is possible to take the Circumversuviana train (underground subway) to Naples and Pompei. Set in a panoramic position in the hills above Positano, there are stunning views from the property over the Gulf of Sorrento. Entrance is through an electric gate and an olive tree and flower-lined road leads to the property set within a beautifully maintained lawned garden with trees and flowering shrubs.
The charming old house has been tastefully furnished with antiques, prints, watercolours and ceramic artworks. The style of the house, carved out of the hillside of volcanic rock, together with the fresh colours of blue, white and yellow which run throughout, combine to create a very special seaside home. On a lower level within the grounds is a lovely swimming pool with surrounding sun deck and magnificent views. With private gardens and terraces planted with palm trees, bougainvillea and other flowering plants, Casa Vista Galli is a perfect haven of peace and relaxation.
The accommodation is on three floors and the ground floor living areas open to a trellis-covered terrace with spacious furnished areas for relaxing outdoors. There is also an independent cottage in the garden about 60 metres away from the main house, which has a double bedroom and a sofa-bed.
