Casa sul Mare is one of two beautiful apartments in a villa, located in Praiano, on the coastal road connecting Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Salerno. Both apartments enjoy a quiet position and offer wonderful views over the Mediterranean Sea. The centre of Praiano is about 10 minutes walk and offers food shops (including the “Emporio”, which can also do home deliveries at no extra charge), bars, pizzerias and restaurants. About 50 metres from the property is a bus stop with a bus service that Praiano to all the other centres of the Amalfi Coast – useful during the summer months when it is more difficult to find car parking. The “La Praia” Beach (with pebbles) is 5 minutes walk away where guests can swim, sunbathe, or take a boat to reach the other destinations along the coast, or the islands. There is also a scuba diving centre, a Water Taxi service and a boat rental facility. The beach also offers a number of bars and restaurants serving excellent local food. There is one car parking space available for guests at Casa Sul Mare.
The apartment occupies one floor, with the living area opening to a terrace (60m2) furnished for dining ‘al fresco’, or relaxing in the sun. The terrace can also be accessed from a balcony outside the bedrooms. The apartment is comfortably and tastefully furnished with a mixture of modern and antique furniture. The walls and ceilings are white and the floor tiles are handmade and painted as is the local tradition in this area. The apartment is well equipped with satellite TV, DVD, CD player and ADSL internet connection. There is a baby cot available on request. The living/dining area is provided with air conditioning included in the rental price, and heating is available, but charged extra.
The owners, who live nearby, used to own a hotel in Praiano. They speak English, German, French, and Italian and will be happy to assist their guests with any possible advice or information on visits (including local English speaking guides), itineraries, transfers, etc. They can also organize tailored excursions Those guests who prefer to rent a car for their excursions, can ask the owners to arrange a rental with English speaking driver.

Maid service available at €12 per hour,. An English speaking babysitter can also be arranged, and multilingual freelance chefs for dinners or for cooking lessons.
