Destination Guide

A mere one and a half hour trip via hydrofoil from Athens will bring you into the picturesque harbour of Hydra, once a base for wealthy sea traders. From there, it is a ten minute walk up the hillside to The White House, one of our romantic small villas. Your baggage will follow by donkey. All that remains is for you and your partner to pop a few drinks into the outdoor fridge, take a seat in the terrace plunge pool, and soak up the spectacular views. When all that relaxation has earned you an appetite, it is an easy stroll back down to a variety of buzzing restaurants, bars, tavernas and shops.  We have several other properties on Hydra, all a short walk from the town and port.
