A delightful stone-built house with beige shutters, situated conveniently on the edge of the popular village of Gordes about two minutes walk from the village centre. From its dramatic location on a rocky crag, Gordes has a good selection of art galleries, small shops and restaurants. This is a wonderful base from which to explore the many attractions of the Luberon. The views from the property, across the valley to the Luberon mountains are spectacular. Entrance to the house is via a pathway, up through a very pretty, private garden with flowering plants, lavender bushes and olive trees, to a covered terrace with furnished dining area and wonderful view over the valley below. Two sets of French doors open into a very attractive sitting/dining room. The house has recently been re-decorated and furnished throughout. The rooms are tastefully decorated in neutral colours, complimented by fabrics in soft beiges, creams and browns and with terracotta tiled floors. To one side of the house, up a few steps, there is a swimming pool (10 x 4m), surrounded by a terrace with outdoor furniture, and backed by a natural stone cliff. Adjacent to the pool, is a separate small guest house accommodating a further two people. There is central heating throughout for out of season rentals.
