Within easy reach of the buzz of Bonifacio, this superb stone has villa fantastic views over the estuary and Gulf of Santa Manza. Set on a 10,000 sq metre parcel of land, the property is situated close to the Gulf of Sperone which has the best golf course on the island and a beach which is a keen favourite of wind and kite surfers. The local beach of Canetto is within a ½ hour walk of the property, and Bonifacio – with its shops, restaurants, port and old fortress – is only 7 km away. The villa, constructed from the local white stone that is a significant feature of the Bonifacio area, enjoys a private and peaceful setting. A stone path across the lawn leads to the salt-water infinity pool (14 x 4m). Surrounded by wooden decking, the pool has plenty of room for 12 sun loungers; it has a parameter alarm security system for the security of children, and can be heated outside the summer period. Behind and separate from the main house is a small one-bedroomed stone bergerie, which is available to rent for large groups (see La Bergerie de la Villa Vacanza). The recently renovated interiors are colourful and relaxing, and have a Mediterranean feel. The main living area consists of a spacious open-plan sitting/dining room with pale stone-coloured tiles, white walls and a lovely wooden ceiling. There is a central stone-built fireplace and large glass sliding doors opening onto the stone-floored, covered exterior terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and an electric oven, American style fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is a breakfast area with table and chairs beside the kitchen, and doors leading to the outside terrace with a large built-in barbecue area. With the exception of Bedroom 6, all the bedrooms are air-conditioned.
