Vineyard by the Sea is located about 45 minutes drive west of St Tropez, near the charming village of La Londe, bordering the sea and close to Fort de Bregancon and Hyeres. The property, is surrounded by 170 hectares, of which 47 are devoted to wine production, which are owned by Domaines Ott, famous around the world for producing some of the best wines of the Cotes de Provence Appellation.
The property, comprising of a large and spacious 18th century mas and adjoining building, was once the home of the Ott family. It has recently been spectacularly converted to offer, either sumptuous holidays for large families or a group of friends or alternatively, for use as a venue for exclusive business meetings. Reached by a long private drive, the property faces south over vineyards towards the sea. In the front of the house there is a large terrace and pretty gravel courtyard, surrounded by trees, whilst to one side, there is a large 22 x 4m pool featuring an attractive cascade. There is private access to a beautiful sandy beach close by.
The interiors of the buildings have been renovated and furnished to a very high standard. Which has resulted in an imaginative mix of styles. Retaining a lot of the original Provencal stone walls and features, a contemporary feel has been added, by the creative use of glass, predominately muted background colours, whilst modern furnishings, kilim rugs and fabrics add a splash of vivid colour, where appropriate.

Main house
The entrance to the main house is reached through large glass doors that open into a very spacious, high ceiling and impressive 180 sq m open plan living and dining room, featuring some exceptionally large and comfortable sofas and a very large dining table. To the rear, there is a smaller attractive salon, for use as a reading and television room. Large south facing windows give a light airy feel to the rooms. There is also a large professionally equipped kitchen, which features everything a Michelin rated Chef would need to prepare a gourmet meal. There are also two separate WCs and a laundry room on the ground floor. There is a large stone staircase leading to the first floor, where there are 5 large double bedrooms all with 160 c beds and en-suite bathrooms all enjoying impressive views. There is air conditioning in every room, satellite TV and wi-fi access.
East wing
This wing is an extension to the main house, it has a separate entrance and is decorated and furnished in exactly the same style. It features 2 large double bedrooms [160c beds] with en-suite bathrooms on the ground floor and 2 further large double bedrooms [160c beds] with en-suite bathrooms on the first floor. Again, all the rooms have air conditioning.
West building
Separated from the main house, this building again is decorated and furnished in the same style. It features 1 large double bedroom on the ground floor and 2 large double bedrooms on the first floor all with en-suite bathrooms. There is no air conditioning in this building. |
